Eagle Ridge Christian School believes that extra-curricular activities help lead to the full development of the students as they learn to cooperate and interact with their fellow classmates, as well as students from other schools. It is our desire to produce athletes who consistently display the fruits of the spirit in their lives both in and out of the competition. By encouraging the qualities of Christ in our athletes, we hope to develop boldness, love, humility, diligence, responsibility, intensity, courage, self-control and respect.
Our students represent Eagle Ridge Christian School both on and off the court. When in the competitive arena, we represent God and Christianity to those watching. We desire to walk away from every contest leaving a positive impression on our competitors. “Every tree is known by its fruit…” (Luke 6:44) and we are responsible for the fruit we grow. Eagle Ridge Christian School is committed to excellence in all areas including athletics. We strive to assist students in maximizing their potential in order to glorify God. Wins are received with humility, giving God the glory, and losses are received with graciousness and faith.
Athletics are intended to be fun for participants of all ages. The excitement and enthusiasm in our players is fueled by the excellence and dedication of our coaching staff. All students must sign out of practice each day, giving the name, time and person picking them up. Coaches are responsible to verify the information and to remain in the gym or foyer until all students are picked up. We currently offer many sports on the varsity level for our high school students as well as junior varsity sports for our middle school and junior high students.
Eagle Ridge is a full member of Missouri Christian School Athletic Association, an affiliate of Missouri State High School Activities Association and a member of the Metro Athletic Conference. All athletes are required to get a sports physical as well as pay $100 for 5th/6th grade and $200 for 7th-12th grade sports fee for the year.
